HPCI Member update 2 February 2026

Just a short update this week to remind you about three important surveys and consultations about SEND in Hertfordshire.

We strongly encourage parent carers to share your views if you can. Your experiences help shape better support for our children and young people. All the surveys close this Friday, 6 February.

📘 1. Hertfordshire’s SEND Strategy 2026–29
This strategy sets out how Hertfordshire plans to support children with SEND across education, health, and social care over the next three years.

Complete the online survey and support your child to share their views.

🧩 2. Learning Disability “Big Plan”
This plan aims to improve education, social care, health, and community services for people with a learning disability in Hertfordshire.
There are separate surveys for carers and people with a learning disability.

💬 3. Young People’s Health & Wellbeing Survey (SEND)
For young people aged 11–25 with special educational needs or disabilities – if your young person hasn’t completed this yet, 👉 they can share their experiences and views here.
