The COVID-19 vaccination programme in Hertfordshire is moving at a pace and some people with learning disabilities are now being invited. This will include younger adults who are 16 – 18 years old. Invitations will be sent out by GPs, there is no need to ‘phone the surgery, they will be coming.
To find out more about how this will work, we are organising a session for carers with representatives from the NHS and Herts County Council. This will be on Thursday 18 February from 7.30pm – 9.30pm. It will be held via Zoom. Please do submit any questions you would like to ask in advance as there is not likely to be enough time for much discussion on the evening. We are sorry that this is late notice but this has all happened in the last week.
